TOUR DE FRANCE5 episodes series

Story behind this series is really strong and we are proud we could be part of it.

MAIN CHARACTER

Young man who travelled with his spouse to holiday destination. One evening they went thru the dark alley and were attacked by robbers. This man defended and saved his spouse, but suffered stabbing injury in the stomach.

Due to sever blood loss he lost one of his legs completely and it weakened the other one. But he never gave up and started to work the the biggest car manufacturer company Skoda.

The Trip

Skoda Auto is the main partner of the biggest cycling race in the world called Tour De France. So they invited him to be part of it and we were asked to make a series about it.

So we packed our gear and get on crackin' :) Been of sice 4AM each day to prepare the filming, go to the locations, set everything up, film it and then backup all the material :)

LOCATIONS

We started at Marriot hotel on Prague International Airport with the manager of the hotel, went for a breakfast and then rushed to the departures. After negotiating with airport personel we were also able to film on the airport and plane itself too :)

After landing in France we went straight into the business :) Private drivers, private helicopters, 5 star hotels. Everything covered by the Skoda Auto. We were filming and recording everything from ground, sky, cars, bicycles, etc.

Equipment

For this type of "rushed" filming ots necessary to have appropriate equipment, because no one going to wait for us :) So we setup the plan to use lepal microphones with separate recordes for each character a record audio non-stop each day.

For video footage there were 3 action cams and one main DSLR camera for main and b-roll footage.

EDITING

You can imagine how much footage we filmed and recorded :) So the "fun" part was to sort everything, synchronize the audio with the video and then start to do the actual edit :)

Because the whole project was sponsored by the Skoda Auto we need to keep that in mind in the edit. So do not show any other car brands in the video, do not show any breakdowns, etc. :)

Schedule

After we finished the filming, we have been told its vital to edit the whole show in a WEEK! :D But we are never feared of challenges, so we started immediatelly. Worked around the clock.

And we did it :) We had the whole series edited in next 5 days! :)
